Located between the pool and the beach volleyball court the park has a childrens playground and swing set as well as grass play areas.
From the brand-new trailhead located just behind the Croft House museum is a fantastic coastal hike through the old-growth Acadian forest. Only a 1 minute walk from Wild Pines Cabins is a great hiking loop that goes around the permitter of the Golf course through old growth Acadian hardwood forest and along the top of the highest coastal cliffs on PEI. This is a must do for any stay at Wild Pines Cabins. Witness the aftermath and destruction from Hurricane Fiona and see the re-birth and renewal of this beautiful natural landscape all just steps away from your cabin.

Lord Selkirk Park Features a regulation size beach volleyball court. Court has real beach sand and has the best view from any beach volley ball court anywhere.
Only 1.5 km from Wild Pines Cabins is Coopers Store. they have everything you need to have a great glamping experience!
Located in beautiful “downtown” Belfast, this friendly, family-owned grocery store has been proudly serving the community since 1960. They carry a huge variety of food, liquor hardware and automotive products as well as many other convenience items.
Affectionately known as “The Mall” by local residents, the food market offers a full line of grocery items including; fresh meats and deli, fresh produce (locally grown when available), delicious home baking, frozen foods and convenience items such as subs, sandwiches, coffee and cold drinks.
Just a short 5 minute drive away is the Ponds Rd beach it is the closest swimming beach to Wild Pines Cabins. There are over 50 beaches in Eastern PEI that are all within short driving distance away. Located at the end of Point Prim and just 15 km from Wild Pines Cabins. Point Prim Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse on Prince Edward Island. It is unique, as it is the only round brick lighthouse on PEI and one of three in Canada. They have a gift shop and do tours visit their website here
Located just 15 km west of Wild Pines Cabins just off the Trans Canada Highway is one of PEI's best museums and activity centres.
Surround yourself with the mood, charm and activities of a small Prince Edward Island agricultural crossroads in the 1890s. Engage in daily programming specially designed to keep children happy while also learning and having fun with the animals. Drop by the general store and the PEI Agricultural Heritage Museum. Visit a working blacksmith shop and stroll through the beautiful gardens. For lunch, why not have a picnic outside the old schoolhouse or by a scenic look-off to the beautiful Orwell Bay.
